13th November marks an annual celebration for World Kindness Day, which is marked in

many countries around the world, drawing attention to the amazing work of organisations and individuals in local communities. Kindness in Bucks were recognised by Red Kite Days for its work in the community by awarded them with a Community Support Award last week.
World Kindness Day is celebrated in many ways, some people donate books, food, or clothes to local communities or pledge to empathise with other people. Kindness in Bucks donates Bundles of Kindness year round to midwives for newborn babies in the

community.
How can you take part?
Its simple, why not smile at someone today?, call a loved one, write and send a letter to a friend, help someone with their shopping, share kindness cards with uplifting messages or engage in a conversation with a stranger. Maybe you would like to take part in our Christmas Appeal this year?
Kindness is a fundamental part of the human condition which bridges the divides of race,

religion, politics, gender and location. Being kind to others helps create a more harmonious and caring world.
