As we bid farewell to Mindful March, we take a moment to reflect on the kindness, reflection, and community spirit that filled the month. Through small, intentional acts, we’ve come together to make a big impact—and what an incredible month it has been!

Highlights of Mindful March
From heartfelt moments to meaningful initiatives, here are a few special highlights from the month:
• Dads Playgroup - Mother’s Day Special: Children crafted thoughtful cards, posed for sweet photos, and handed out flowers to celebrate their mums.
• Coffee Morning at The Dove Café in Holtspur: A lovely gathering with our newest recruit (just six weeks old!), providing a warm and welcoming space to connect.
• Kindness Heroes Initiative: We continued our school visits to celebrate children showing kindness in their communities. This month we visited Manor Farm Infants, Bucks College Group and Holmer Green Juniors.
• Kindness Giveaways: Our volunteers handed out crotched sunflowers, heart socks and rainbow key rings to brighten the days of local residents.
• Warm Hub events at Adams Park: In collobaration with Wycombe Wanderers Foundation our volunteers attended events that provided warm meals, bingo nights and lovely company for elderly residents.

Our Volunteers
Our incredible volunteers Hannah and Amanda have been busy this month hosting a dads playgroup in Beaconsfield and Mum and baby coffee morning in Holtspur, Evening Adult Walks in Hazlemere and handing our crotched sunflowers and gifts to residents in our community.
All our events are free, and our volunteers give up their time, energy and often cover costs themselves, with support from generous community donations. We are thankfulk for their dedication.

Kindness Heroes
This month we visited Manor Farm Infants, Bucks College Group and Holmer Green Juniors.
If your school would like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you. This is a great opportunity for children to recognise and celebrate kindness within their own school community. Reach out to us to learn more!
Supporting Our Elderly Community

Our volunteers attended the last warm hub of the year, supporting the elderly in our community.
Amanda shared how rewarding it was to see the elderly out and socializing—some even learned to play dominoes, and one even treated herself to red lipstick for the occasion. It was truly a special evening supporting those who need it most.
Supporting Local Charities
We also had the honor of spotlighting eight incredible local charities in Buckinghamshire, each making a vital difference in the community:
• One Can Trust – Fighting food poverty
• Cameron’s Companions – Raising awareness for mental health and suicide prevention
• Chiltern Food Bank – Emergency food support for families in crisis
• The Baby Bank – Essential items for families with young children
• Wycombe Women’s Aid – Empowering women and children affected by domestic abuse
• Youth Concern – Supporting vulnerable young people with housing and mental health services
• Wycombe Wanderers Foundation – Promoting health, education, and inclusion through sport
• Hub Care Support – Providing compassionate home care services
Donations and Volunteer Opportunities

Thank you to those who made cash donations on our website and donated baby essentials for our baby baskets. We’ve now made 55 baskets this year, and we need more donations from the community to continue supporting local new mums in need.
We are always looking for volunteers to support our initiatives. Whether you can spare an hour a week or a few hours a month, every bit of help makes a difference. If you’d like to get involved and be part of our mission to spread kindness in Bucks, please reach out—we’d love to have you on board!
