With a fresh new month ahead of us, it’s time to shift gears into Active April! This month, we’re inviting you to join us in taking action—both physically and within our community.
Active April is all about movement with meaning. It’s a chance to not only get moving but also make a positive impact on the world around you. Whether it’s helping out in your neighborhood, staying active, or supporting local initiatives, every action counts.
Here’s how you can get involved:
• Join our local litter pick: Saturday 5th April 12.30pm - 14.30pm.
• Walk or cycle instead of driving: Help reduce your carbon footprint while staying active.
• Take on a daily movement challenge: Challenge yourself to 30 minutes of movement a day.
• Volunteer your time: Whether it’s helping a neighbour or supporting a local cause, your time and effort make a big difference.
• Organise a community event: Get creative and rally together with your friends, neighbours, or local school to plan an activity that brings people together. Maybe you would like to make a community donation towards our baby bundle project.
Active April Events with Amanda
For those looking to get outdoors and stay active, join Amanda for evening walks for adults in Hazlemere.
• When: Weekly Sundays and Wednesdays at 5 PM
• Duration: 1 hour

Community Litter Pick
Volunteers across Bucks will meet at Jackson Court in Hazlemere for our first community litter pick campaign.
• When: Saturday 5th April 12.30pm
• Duration: 2 hours

Football Kit Campaign
Working in Collaboration with Kit Aid Charity and Wycombe Wanderers Foundation

Coffee Morning & Toy Time at The Dove Café – Friday, 25th April
Join us for a relaxed coffee morning at The Dove Café on Friday, April 25th, where you can enjoy a warm drink, good company, and toys for the little ones to play with. It’s a great chance to connect with others in the community and unwind.
Dads Playgroup - Easter Special– Sunday, 27th April
Join us for our next Dads Playgroup pn Sunday 27th April at 10.30am for an Easter special session with arts, crafts and snacks for the little ones.
