We hosted our first nearly new sale and swap shop on Sunday 8th October at St Thomas Church Hall in Holtspur.

The idea behind the event was two fold

  1. To reduce the amount of clothes and toys heading to landfill and to encourage sustainable shopping.

  2. To raise funds for our Bundles of Kindness project.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success. We had over 2000 items of clothes, shoes, books and toys donated to our sale. All monies raised from the sale will help fund our Bundles of Kindness initiative. Any clothes items unsold were then donated to the wonderful One Can trust clothes bank in High Wycombe.

We are super grateful for the community who donated the items and the awesome local volunteers and businesses who support our event. These included Bovingdons, Asda High Wycombe, Sainsburys Beaconsfield, John Lewis High Wycombe, Londis Holtspur, Hartbeeps South Bucks, Beaconsfield Town Hall, Dove Cafe, Crendon, St Thomas Church Hall, Round and About Magazine, Hiya Bucks, Beaconsfield Community Magazine, Melody Mint Cafe, Tesco Amersham and the Local Directory Beaconsfield.

The monies raised from this event will help Kindness in Bucks support over 50 families in need within the local community,
